Ferran Torres wore a ‘Make Spain Great Again’ cap as he and his teammates celebrated their World Cup triumph with a homecoming parade.
Torres wrote his name into World Cup history with the extra-time goal that secured Spain’s win over Argentina at MetLife Stadium.
Trump was among the celebrities and dignitaries in the crowd on Sunday, with the president controversially handing over the trophy alongside FIFA boss Gianni Infantino.
Spain’s players continued their celebrations after jetting back home. On Monday, fans poured onto the streets of Madrid to welcome Torres and Co.
And during the victory parade, a topless Torres wore his own version of Trump’s trademark red MAGA cap. The forward’s hat read: ‘Make Spain Great Again.’
At MetLife Stadium on Sunday, Trump awkwardly invaded Spain’s trophy lift at the end of the tense final.

The European championsclinched their second World Cup title after beating Lionel Messi‘s Argentina 1-0.
Shortly after the full-time whistle, the president made his way down to the field, where he was loudly booed by many in the crowd.
Trump and Infantino then handed out various awards to match officials and players before welcoming Spain’s players to the stage.
And, much like last year – when he presented Chelsea with the Club World Cupcrown – Trump stood awkwardly alongside the Spain squad as they lifted the trophy.
Infantino appeared to try and usher Trump away from the players and off the stage. But the president lingered nearby as the celebrations kicked off.
