It calmed me down and it was good. I was going to go there as an individual anyway, but to represent Nova Scotia is really cool.\u201dArticle contentBushnik started her golf career by taking lessons when she was six years old at Richmond Hill Golf Club in Ontario with her parents, but shortly after decided to step away from the game.Article content\u201cI played out some of their rounds, but I stopped for 10 years because I found it a bit boring on the course,\u201d said Bushnik, who graduated as an electrical engineer and is now working as a computer programmer with Nexus Networks.Article contentShe would return to the sport when she was 16 years old at Tam O\u2019Shanter Golf Club, a municipal course in Toronto, and has been playing ever since.
