It was purposefully and criminally done, and somebody had to work very hard, probably in the dark of night, to create such a condition.’

The President raged over the weekend that an alleged vandal cut a 250-foot gash into the iconic pool. Then Trump said on Monday that the gash was actually 300 feet, and now he claims it is 350 feet.

The Daily Mail was unable to verify the location of the football field-sized gash during a trip to the Reflecting Pool on Monday. Neither the Justice Department nor the Department of the Interior have responded to the Daily Mail’s comment request.

Over a dozen law enforcement, Park Police, National Park employees, National Guardsmen and visitors present at the Reflecting Pool on Monday afternoon said they found no sign of a ‘gash’ in the monument that Trump has been riled over.

Trump said on Monday that there are photos of the alleged damage that would be released in court.US Attorney for DC Jeannine Pirro’s office told the Daily Mail in a statement it is reviewing ‘a handful’ of citations related to the pool.

All the hubbub about the Reflecting Pool has prompted visitors to flock to the site to see the alleged damage and renovation for themselves.

President Donald Trump claims that six individuals have been arrested for vandalism against the recently remodeled Reflecting Pool and that it will have to be drained and redone after his $16 million renovation was recently completed

The presence of law enforcement around the pool has increased since Trump’s remodel. The man above was detained for alleged disorderly conduct after yelling at authorities, sources said

Trump posted this social media post ripping into a ‘crazy pro-algae (likely paid) protestor’

‘Weve received only a handful of citations which we will review,’ a representative for her office told the Daily Mail.

The Daily Mail witnessed one man getting arrested at the Reflecting Pool by authorities on Monday.

However, he was not apprehended for vandalism, he was detained for disorderly conduct after screaming at law enforcement.

Another video from Monday shows a woman touching the Reflecting Pool water, perhaps toying with some sealant though it is unclear, before being approached by a National Parks Service worker.

TMZ reported that she was detained for the incident, though it is unclear if she was formally arrested or given a citation.

Trump said last month that the sealant was ‘so strong’ that it could not be cut, despite him claiming now that the pool suffered a 350-foot gash.

‘If you had a knife, you can’t even cut the Reflecting Pool. So strong,’ he said at a May White House event.

But the President says it’s not just the gash that has desecrated the monument he recently refurbished to the tune of $16 million, but that vandals have also poured chemicals into the pool, harmed the new ‘American flag blue’ sealant and damaged grass in the surrounding area.

‘Likewise, the small area at the bottom of the Pool was cut and powerfully lifted off the surface leaving very jagged, uneven edges,’ Trump’s Tuesday post continued. ‘The large areas of grass are being replaced.’

The President noted that some of the pool’s water will be drained for a ‘permanent repair’ sometime ‘immediately before or after the Fourth of July.’

On Friday, three-time US Olympian David Hearn was arrested for what the President has called vandalism. Hearn has maintained he ‘didn’t destroy, rip, tear, peel, or remove any part’ of the paint that was loose in the water.

Several individuals have been ticketed or detained for poking around the pool, including one man who toyed with a hose putting water into the pool last week.

‘Anyone who is in a position of vandalizing or attempting to vandalize will face the criminal justice system in DC,’ Pirro told Fox News on Sunday.

Her office has yet to put out any details on the alleged vandals or their crimes.

Donald Trump is claiming that six individuals have been arrested after they allegedly vandalized the Reflecting Pool in Washington, DC. ‘Six people have been arrested, and seven people have been cited, for the damage they did to our Countrys now beautiful Reflecting Pool,’ Trump wrote on social media Tuesday morning. ‘The 350 foot gash, made […]

[60

post-80921","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-donald-trump
["GET
