It\u2019s the twenty-first edition of the Night of the Museums and we promise you, it\u2019s everything it\u2019s hyped up to be. More than 300 locations, all sorts of iconic buildings, cultural institutions, and the very best museums \u2014 places that typically charge an entry fee or are restricted to public access \u2014 open their doors for free.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>    You can visit Congreso de la Naci\u00f3n \u2014 the Congress building where you can actually go into the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate \u2014 the Teatro Col\u00f3n workshops, or the Planetarium. A full program of locations and events is available online. Point in case: La Francachela. This street party organized by used bookstore Aristipo Libros has music, empanadas, wine, good books, beautiful people, and everything else you could want on a Saturday night filled with alcohol and education.<\/p>\n<p>    And because the party never really stops there\u2019s a post-Francachela at La Quince Cultural Space (Corrientes 5426) with a bar and a DJ. Just like that, we\u2019ve leveled up your weekend. This is the last Francachela of the year, so don\u2019t miss out!<\/p>\n<p>    Picante Fest BA<\/p>\n<p>        Courtesy of Picante Fest    The fourth edition of the spiciest event in the country includes new producers, new activities, and new surprises. Indulge in spicy food and flavors \u2014 meet the artisanal producers leading the national scene, take part in talks and activities, and most importantly taste spicy foods.<\/p>\n<p>    There will be live music, an afterparty, and a \u201cWho Can Eat the Most Spice\u201d competition that isn\u2019t for the faint of heart.<\/p>\n<p>    Festival C<\/p>\n<p>    Sunday 9 and Sunday, November 16<br \/>\nCuerda Mec\u00e1nica (Juramento 4686, Villa Urquiza)\u00a0<br \/>\nFree entry<\/p>\n<p>        Cuerda Mec\u00e1nica\u2019s Festival C returns for its third edition bringing two weekends of art, music, and community. The independent cultural center expands into the streets with free outdoor shows, performances, and talks to support Fundaci\u00f3n S\u00ed \u2014 visitors are encouraged to bring non-perishable food or hygiene donations.<\/p>\n<p>    On Sunday, November 9, the program starts at 5 p.m. and features readings, the acclaimed audiovisual piece Imprenteros, and an intimate concert by Uruguayan legend Fernando Cabrera (reserve your free tickets online before space fills up).
