Santilli headed Milei\u2019s La Libertad Avanza list of national deputies in Buenos Aires province in Sunday\u2019s national mid-term elections.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt will be Diego who carries out the conversations with governors and legislators to coordinate with the National Congress on the consensuses necessary for the reforms that are coming looking to the future,\u201d Milei wrote, welcoming Santilli by his nickname, \u201cColo.\u201d<\/p>\n
Following the resignation of Guillermo Francos as chief of staff and Lisandro Catal\u00e1n as interior minister, the government moved forward with the appointment of their replacements.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Manuel Adorni, until now the presidential spokesperson, will be the new chief of staff. Some reports indicated that political advisor Santiago Caputo could be appointed to the Interior Ministry to lead political dialogue with governors, and sources in the Casa Rosada even told the Herald that this was a possibility.<\/p>\n
