Piazzolla at the Col\u00f3n, art and community kitchens, and surprise gnocchi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> \t\t\t                       \t\t\t\t\t \t\t\t\t\t As Buenos Aires slowly returns to its regular, non-holiday buzz, our weekend recommendations are slowly returning to its usual programming.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>    From a show based on Astor Piazzolla and free live performance by guitar hero Luis Salinas to a community art exhibit and a gnocchi tradition with a twist, this week\u2019s menu is peppered with some of the things we love and care about the most.<\/p>\n<p>    Astor, Piazzolla eterno    January 24 to February 8<br \/>\nTuesdays to Sundays, 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.<br \/>\nCol\u00f3n Theater<br \/>\nTickets range AR$13,500 to AR$150,000<\/p>\n<p>        Buenos Aires\u2019 legendary Col\u00f3n Theater welcomes a Broadway-style musical on the life of bandoneon player and composer Astor Piazzolla, a tango master and undoubtedly one of Argentina\u2019s greatest artists.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>    The 85-minute show, featuring an orchestra, singers, and dancers, was written and directed by Emiliano Dionisi, with musical direction by Nicol\u00e1s Guerschberg.<\/p>\n<p>    The show is a powerful and poetic journey through Piazzolla\u2019s life and his musical influences, as well as his creations and views on art and the world.<\/p>\n<p>    Tickets are available for purchase at the Col\u00f3n Theater\u2019s website.<\/p>\n<p>    Politics of Flavor    Tuesdays to Fridays, 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.<br \/>\nWeekends and Holidays, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.<br \/>\nRecoleta Cultural Center (Junin 1930)<br \/>\nAdmission is free for residents. Non-residents over 12: AR$6000<\/p>\n<p>            Drawing on collective experiences from different countries and works by artists from diverse periods, the show invites viewers to think of the kitchen not only as a space of care, but also as a place charged with politics and poetry, where optimism is a tool of resistance.<\/p>\n<p>Participating groups and institutions include: Cozinha Ocupa\u00e7ao 9 de Julho (Brazil), Paisanaje (Spain), Inland \u2013 Campo adentro (Spain), Floating University of Germany,\u00a0 Belleza y Felicidad Fiorito\u2019s Comedor Gourmet, and Buenos Aires\u2019 Museo del Puerto de Ingeniero White.<\/p>\n<p>    Luis Salinas in Parque Centenario    February 1 \u2013 8 p.m.<br \/>\nParque Centenario Amphitheater (Leopoldo Marechal and Av. Lillo)<br \/>\nFree admission. Subject to cancellation in case of rain.<\/p>\n<p>        One of Argentina\u2019s most renowned guitarists, Luis Salinas will perform a concert showcasing his vast repertoire, blending jazz, blues, folk, and Latin American popular music.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>    Known for his virtuosic blend of genres and Latin rhythms, Salinas is a multiple Gardel Award winner whose shows are marked by technical brilliance and improvisation. In the past, he has collaborated with artists like Mercedes Sosa, B.B.
