Buenos Aires\u2019 legendary Col\u00f3n Theater welcomes a Broadway-style musical on the life of bandoneon player and composer Astor Piazzolla, a tango master and undoubtedly one of Argentina\u2019s greatest artists.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The 85-minute show, featuring an orchestra, singers, and dancers, was written and directed by Emiliano Dionisi, with musical direction by Nicol\u00e1s Guerschberg.<\/p>\n
The show is a powerful and poetic journey through Piazzolla\u2019s life and his musical influences, as well as his creations and views on art and the world.<\/p>\n

One of Argentina\u2019s most renowned guitarists, Luis Salinas will perform a concert showcasing his vast repertoire, blending jazz, blues, folk, and Latin American popular music.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Known for his virtuosic blend of genres and Latin rhythms, Salinas is a multiple Gardel Award winner whose shows are marked by technical brilliance and improvisation. In the past, he has collaborated with artists like Mercedes Sosa, B.B. King, and Hermeto Pascoal.\u00a0<\/p>\n
He will be joined by special guest Juan Salinas and a band of musicians for each performance.<\/p>\n
Surprise gnocchi of the 29th, by Ostende January 29, 8 p.m.

A long-standing Argentine tradition calls for eating gnocchi on the 29th of each month, placing money under the plate to attract luck, work, and prosperity.\u00a0<\/p>\n
On that note, Colegiales eatery Ostende is kicking off the year with its monthly gnocchi series, Toca Toca, la Suerte es Loca (\u2018Get what you get, luck is crazy\u2019).<\/p>\n
The event combines the gnocchi tradition with a game of chance and the spirit of a traditional Argentine bodeg\u00f3n, featuring homemade dishes, select wines, and its classic surprise gift game.<\/p>\n
Just like in past iterations, diners will find a coupon with surprise gifts under each dish, which may include breakfasts, glasses of wine, vermouth, complimentary dishes, or signature sweets from the eatery.<\/p>\n
