She has not been employed as a licensed practical nurse since Sept. 15, 2022.Article contentIn a June 10 decision, the adjudication tribunal found Noble guilty of professional misconduct and suspended her license for six months.Article contentBefore she can practice again, she’s been ordered to take courses with a College of Nurses consultant that include, among others, further education on the standard of practice and code of ethics, accountability documentation, and therapeutic nurse-client relationships.Article contentPrior to any future employment as a licensed practical nurse, Noble must also complete further learning modules around the code of ethicsArticle contentShe was also ordered to pay $4,000 to cover part of the costs of the investigation.Article contentIf she returns to work as an LPN, Noble will be monitored by the quality performance section of the College of Nurses for a period of six months, which will include periodic inquiries by the college and, as deemed necessary, her employer, to confirm there are no concerns with respect to repetition of the conduct that led to the complaint.Article content
